I am a pediatric physical therapist from The Netherlands. After I graduated as a physical therapist in 2001, I soon found out I get the most satisfaction from working with children. In 2003 I got the opportunity to work in an organization with children with multiple disabilities and ever since I’ve worked with kids only. I completed my Master of Profession in Paediatric Physical Therapy in 2009.

As a pediatric physical therapist, I am specialized in examining and treating children from birth to age 18 who have problems with their posture, with movements and with performing physical activities. Over the years I gained extensive experience in working with babies and infants with a developmental delay, in working with children with neurological and congenital conditions such as Cerebral Palsy and Down syndrome, sports injuries and behavioral problems like Autisme Spectrum Disorder. I also worked with school-aged children with clumsy motor skills (DCD) and poor handwriting (dyspraxia). I am specialized in Sensory Processing Disorders, in Plagiocephalometry(measuring and treatment of babies with a plagiocephaly or head turn preference) and in chest physiotherapy.

It’s my passion to bring out the best of every child, to help them reach optimal independence and adequate physical functioning within his or her abilities, in a fun and stimulating environment.
